Every year the DSDCTA recognizes members for outstanding achievement in Dressage, Combined Training, Horse Trials
and Dressage Sport Horse Breeding. These awards are based on either the member's personal efforts as a rider or the efforts of the horses the member owns.
|
The DSDCTA is a volunteer organization. Volunteerism is an important aspect of the social component of
our organization. Many of us find it enjoyable and rewarding to spend a few hours volunteering among like-minded equestrian enthusiasts at horse shows and horse trials.
|
In order to fulfill our mission we continually communicate with the membership, the dressage and combined training community, and the general public, on a regular basis through publications and
other media. This program was established to recognize members that help us fulfill our mission.
|
Several Perpetual Awards have been established to honor the memory of former members by recognizing special accomplishments or contributions of members.
|
The DSDCTA scholarship program is for members who are working to sharpen their equestrian skills. The
objective of the grant is to enable the Adult Amateur or JR/YR rider to take some concentrated instruction to further or meet specific goals that
might not be otherwise financially available. |
